Jim Miller proved yet once again why he’s such an icon in the UFC. The veteran fighter has collected the highest number of wins in the promotion and he’s still fresh to keep going for more. Can anyone doubt it? There’s no way, especially for the opponents he called out after winning his most recent fight.

Miller just went toe-to-toe up against Gabriel Benítez at UFC Vegas 84. He managed to go blow-for-blow for the first two rounds before securing a brilliant takedown in the third. And soon, he won via submission. Now, Matt Brown, the opponent he called out has responded back.

Jim Miller has the most wins in UFC history, a stunning 26 brilliant victories. Of course, the experience and skill come in handy when on the mat. That’s what happened against Benitez. Once he’d secured the win, he had a few names on his mind.

“. . . you know like, I got the most finishes in lightweight.” He said. “You know, man, Matt Brown, I would love to go up to 170. Fight the guy with the most knockouts in UFC history. You know, one of the guy’s that’s up the top of the welterweight division.”

He first called out Paul Felder, who was commentating on the event at the moment. Felder was quick to dismiss the callout because he’s retired from MMA. Next on Miller’s list was Brock Lesner who’s also not very likely to accept. However, for UFC 300, when Matt Brown was called upon, he was quick to respond.

“I love Jim Miller. Would be an honor.” Said Brown in his response tweet. Miller also spoke about how there are three months left until UFC 300. He could go back, rest, and recover before breaking back into the Octagon. We know he’ll be a part of UFC 300 if he can make it. Why? Because Dana White said so.

Dana White has seen Miller compete at both, UFC 100 and UFC 200. The fighter has been in the promotion’s rosters for so long that it’s impossible to miss him. Miller has been performing since 2008 and to White, it only made sense to keep him in the cage for UFC 300.

White went on record to tell TNT Sports that he was completely sold on the idea of Miller being on the UFC 300 card. He’s a fighter who always puts on a great show and has won most of his last few fights. If Brown is in and Miller gets back up to perfect condition fast, the fight could happen.
