UFC 100 and 200 marked significant milestones for Dana White, proving to be blockbuster events. It ͏appears that the CEO is now aiming to surpass ͏both with UFC 300. In ͏an effort to establish UFC 300 as the ultimate benchmark, he has spared no effort to uphold the highest standards. White, in a recent revelation, stated that he is not done with the card and he is planning to do something ‘crazy’ with it.
White asserted that they are planning to make UFC 300 much bigger than its peers. “100 was a big deal, 200 was a big deal, 300 is a big one for us right now. Every fight on the card could be the main event, whether it’s a Fight Night or a pay-per-view,” said White on Maxx Crosby’s YouTube channel. The CEO emphasized that a lot of things are yet to be announced. “We’re still working on a lot of crazy sh*t right now, but this is part of the fun. This is part of why I love this business so much.”
The CEO further explained that he was basically ‘Tortured’ for the main event. “I don’t know about that, but I feel like it does every time. Definitely, it’s the most anticipated, that’s for sure. I mean, I am just getting tortured right now for this main event. Everybody’s going crazy… It’s not like I’m dragging this thing out because, you know, I think it’s funny or something. Just people don’t realize how hard this business really is to, you know,”
Dana White appears to be planning to make this event the best possible, but will he be able to succeed with a looming threat emerging in the form of PFL, especially with them planning crossover events after acquiring Bellator?

PFL’s investor and founder Donn Davis has warned Dana White about the growing competition that PFL could give to the UFC in coming years. While having a conversation with Mirror Fighting, Davis stated, “We respect Dana and the UFC. They built the MMA industry. They’re the current leader. We’re the undisputed number two, but we are growing three times faster than they are.”
He further added, “We know have a fight roster equal to theirs but not on the pay-per-view side. He’s not happy not that, he’s a little worried about that. Dana doesn’t get grumpy about anything, unless he’s worried. I’m sure he doesn’t like us acquiring Bellator, signing Francis, expanding globally, renewing our deal with ESPN and growing our audience 50 percent this year. I’m sure he doesn’t like that, our aim is to be the co-leader.”
