UFC 300 is gearing up to be one of the biggest events for the promotion in recent times. There are some of the best and most talented fighters competing on the stacked PPV card. Among those fighters is the former lightweight champion, Charles Oliveira going up against rising prospect, Arman Tsarukyan.

Charles Oliveira had to pull out from a title fight against the UFC lightweight champion, Islam Makhachev, back in October 2023, after suffering a massive gash above his right eye. However, he might get another shot at the title, depending on the outcome of the fight against Tsarukyan at UFC 300. But it would not be an easy task considering how Tsarukyan is preparing for the fight.

Charles Oliveira was on an 11-fight winning streak until losing against the current UFC champion, Islam Makhachev, at UFC 280. However, he came back with a dominating win against Beneil Dariush at UFC 289. Just like Oliveira, Tsarukyan has also been on a decent winning streak, most recently beating Darish at a UFC Fight Night, back in December 2023.

Given their dominant wins, both fighters lay claim to the title shot. Hence, the two will go against each other to decide the number one contender for the UFC 155 lbs title. Given the importance of the fight, Tsarukyan is making sure he leaves no stones unturned for the fight.

The Armenian is reportedly training at the highest training camps in Russia. The camp is situated 7000 feet above sea level. It seems like ‘Ahalkalakets’ is planning on improving his cardio to the next level going up against ‘Do Bronx’ at UFC 300.

Despite the Armenian training as hard as he could for the fight, fans still had a lot of negative reactions to the news.
