The 29-year-old said, “I think Cheeto is a cold-blooded killer. I don’t think it’s going to phase him.” He also cleared as to why Vera was getting a title shot and credited the majority of it to their history. The champion said, “He didn’t even finish Pedro. So there’s no way he’s coming off this, but like I earned this title fight. Like he knows he’s getting this title fight because I’m the champ.” Vera also responded to the claims and said it was the champion who needed the fight, as he had already beaten him in the past. The battle has already fired up as the pair have no liking for each other. With UFC 299 just a week away, who do you think will win the fight? Let us know in the comments below.
