The flashiest knockout artist in MMA, Michael Venom Page, has finally joined the UFC and will take on Kevin Holland at UFC 299. “MVP” has fought all across the world and will finally grace the UFC fans with his presence inside the UFC octagon. However, despite being known for his incredible finishes, there isn’t much known about the 36-year-old’s background.
The Knockout clips of Michael Page have generated hundreds of millions of views all across the internet. However, how did it all start for the UFC welterweight?
The start of Michael Pages’ martial arts career

The Englishman was born and raised in a household of martial artists as he grew up with parents who were martial artists. His mother stated that “[Michael Page] didn’t really have much choice to start with” as it was revealed that his mother used to take Page along with her in a stroller to martial arts classes before he was even a year old. Given his involvement with martial arts from a very young age, it’s not surprising to see “MVP” make a career out of it. Martial Arts also seemed to have helped him in some other aspects of his life.
During the UFC 299 countdown, Michael Page revealed his experience moving to a dangerous part of town, saying, “I moved to the area known as Little Mexico because at one point I’d like to have the most amount of cocaine in the UK. But they all found out I did kickboxing and one thing everybody respects on the street is fighting.”
“Venom” now at 36 years old, has the opportunity to show the MMA fans that he can hang with the absolute best in the top MMA promotion in the world. But what has the experience been like for the English knockout artist in the UFC?

Michael Page talked about his experience in the UFC during a recent interview with Chamatkar Sandhu. He explained how being an MMA fighter is difficult on the body, but the UFC Performance Institute kept making him speechless when he encountered how the promotion was taking steps to help their fighters.

He stated, “Unbelievable. It’s like it genuinely was like… I’m a new player, I just being signed into a club, let’s just say Man United. Just being signed to a club and then they’re taking me around their facilities. And it was just wow! Like, this is what is available for you on tap where in this sport that just didn’t exist.”
