Gordon did not climb the weighing scale again in an attempt to make weight. He is the only fighter to miss weight at UFC 286.

Gordon has had a mixed career in the UFC so far. He has lost 3 of his last 5 fights. The Canadian moved to the bantamweight division in his UFC debut fight against Amir Albazi in 2020. He lost that fight via submission. Before 2020, he was competing in the flyweight division.
