UFC post-fight bonuses are usually three separate cash bonuses awarded to four fighters after each UFC event. UFC management decides who gets the award after the event. Every UFC fighter is eligible to receive these fight bonuses depending on their performance.

The three categories of fight bonus are the ‘Performance of the Night’, ‘Knockout/Submission of the Night’, and ‘Fight of the Night’. When there are no knockouts or submissions, you can expect lesser bonus awards than usual. The bonus amount is usually $50,000.

Recently, the rising UFC superstar Sean O’Malley tweeted, revealing exciting news regarding the UFC 264 post-fight bonus. O’Malley wrote – “75k bonuses tomorrow night. Thanks”.

It means that the UFC 264 post-fight bonus has been increased to $75,000 from the usual $50,000. The hype train for this intriguing trilogy fight between McGregor and Poirier could be the main reason for increasing the post-fight bonus amount.

This event may go down as the biggest UFC event of this year. It has the potential to break UFC PPV records. Moreover, a McGregor fight card typically means more revenue from various sources for the UFC.

The most recent UFC event to have a $75,000 post-fight bonus was UFC 262. Following a request from Tony Ferguson at the UFC 262 press conference, UFC President Dana White increased the bonuses for UFC 262 as well.
