Before his fight with Jake Paul on August 2023, Diaz hinted at a comeback to the UFC. They had officially removed Nate from the UFC roster, even after defeating Ferguson. Currently, the 38-year-old is a free agent, and it is unknown whom he will face in his next fight. While speaking to True Geordie, Michael Bisping believes Diaz doesn’t need to fight the ‘Problem Child’ again.
In a recent YouTube video, Bisping said: “I feel like Diaz the way he is with his infrequent schedule for his fights, he’s probably going to fight two or three more times. I don’t know how old he is at the top of my head. Mid-thirties, late thirties, you know what I mean. All he has to do is come back to the UFC and fight Connor McGregor, and he’s got to make 25-30 million dollars. So why is he going to mess around with a Disney boy.’
Diaz and McGregor have previously had some of the best fights in the UFC. While the 38-year-old Diaz is a different athlete than he was, he still has the fighting skills to take on the ‘Notorious One’. McGregor is all set to return to the UFC after a seven-year gap.
