Joe Rogan is one of those rare individuals who never shy away from making certain statements, in spite of how unconventional or unusual they could turn out to be. Staying true to this aspect of his personality, the successful podcaster, during the latest episode of JRE, had a few interesting things to say about the billionaires of this generation.

Conversing with entrepreneur Bill Ottman, Rogan dived into the subject of technology, which eventually led to them also talking about billionaire Elon Musk and his takeover of Twitter, among other stuff. While discussing the eccentricity of Musk and his beef with Bill Gates, the 55-year-old also happened to share his views on the billionaires of the current generation and had a few strong words for them during this episode.

Joe Rogan shares his true feelings about today’s billionaires

Ottman, famous for co-founding Minds, an open-source social network, happened to opine that Musk was one of those rare personalities who changed the perception of how billionaires should act. Pointing out the Tesla CEO’s unusual sense of humor, Ottman asked, I think that Elon also just changed the way that the billionaires act. Before him, you know who’s another billionaire that sh*tpost memes?

The entrepreneur then went on to claim that Musk’s originality could even encourage others to do the same as well.

“… I think it sort of paves the way for other people up on his level to start being more real,” he stated.

Surprisingly, Rogan didn’t seem to share the same opinion. Claiming that the rest of the influential personalities at Musk’s level did not have the courage to do what the Tesla CEO does. He stated, I think most of them are cowards and they just don’t have the courage to like be that wild and just really post things they think are funny.

Musk’s sense of humor seems to be something that Rogan was clearly impressed with. As he went on about the topic, the UFC commentator also recalled a specific meme that the SpaceX founder had posted, which apparently left an impression on Rogan.

Rogan recalls Elon Musk’s beef with Bill Gates

Recalling his favorite joke posted by Musk, Rogan said that it was the one where the 51-year-old had taken a dig at Bill Gates. “My favorite one ever was the Bill Gates one. When he posted the photo of bill gates next to a pregnant man emoji and it’s like if you ever want to lose a b*ner real fast,” he said.

Talking about that, Ottman also recalled that it was a beef that the two billionaires shared owing to Gates shorting Tesla stocks.

Eventually, Ottman pointed out how being original in the way Musk carried himself was something that others should also aspire to do as well.
