Joe Rogan in awe of Trump—Is this the most iconic presidential moment in recent history?

Joe Rogan has been left questioning reality after the recent failed assassination attempt on former president, Donald Trump! Trump was giving a speech at a recent campaign rally in Butler, Pennsylvania when suddenly shots rang out and the former president was hit in his right ear before being escorted away from the podium by the U.S. Secret Service agents surrounding him.

In a recent conversation with comedian Chad Daniels on the JRE (Joe Rogan Experience) podcast, the UFC color commentator described the country’s current state as being surreal and resembling a “season” of a TV show that has gone completely off the rails. But Rogan was full of praise for the photographer who, amidst the chaos of an assassination attempt on a former president, was able to capture an image that may feature in history books someday!

During episode no. 2176 of the JRE, Rogan exclaimed his disbelief at the current events that transpired in the country as he stated, “If there’s ever been a real indication that we’re in a simulation, it’s like this season of USA is the craziest season that’s ever existed. There’s so many twists and turns…”

The podcast host shared his belief that the entire scenario felt like something out of a script that was written, and not real events. His guest, Daniels, then chimed in that Trump raising his fist in the air after the bullets whizzed by him resembled the ending of the 1985 classic film, ‘The Breakfast Club’.

Subsequently, Rogan pointed out that the photographer who took the iconic image of Trump with blood splattered on the side of his face and implored his supporters to ‘fight’ is a “wizard”. The man behind the lens was Evan Vucci, a Pulitzer Prize-winning chief photographer for the AP news.

The podcast host then stated, “That’s nuts. So you could see as the bullets start flying, this dude doesn’t even duck. He’s still got his camera out, he’s right behind Trump and he’s just got his camera out, that is so gangster. I mean, you talk about getting a shot no matter what.”

However, Rogan further confessed, “I mean the Trump story is right out of a movie, and I’m hoping it’s not a Stephen King movie”, which may mean that he doesn’t wish for it to have an ending that goes horribly wrong for everyone involved.  The assassination attempt and Donald Trump’s response also drew an outpouring of support from many prominent names in the MMA sphere, including UFC CEO Dana White who called him the “ultimate American bada**”!

Trump receives high praise for his ‘toughness’ from Dana White

Dana White and Donald Trump’s relationship was instrumental in taking the UFC through its early days of being branded ‘human cockfighting’ into the premiere MMA organization on the planet. White has stated in past interviews that Trump’s support through his ‘Trump Taj Mahal’ venues and appearances at early UFC events lent a much-needed air of legitimacy during the promotion’s infancy.

In a recent appearance on ‘The Pat McAfee Show’, the UFC boss lauded his long-time associate as he stated, “Everybody wants to act like a tough guy, well when the s*** goes down, you find out who tough guys are and who tough guys are not, this guy is the legitimate, ultimate American bada** of all time.”

But despite his praise for Trump’s resilience, White stressed that the shooting was a dark day for all citizens, regardless of their political affiliations. What are your thoughts on Joe Rogan and Dana White’s reaction to the entire situation? Let us know in the comments below!
