It seems that the fans of the Joe Rogan Experience (JRE) podcast aren’t thrilled with the prospect of an appearance by Donald Trump on the show. The former President of the USA recently was a guest at the UFC 302 event in New Jersey where he was greeted by a thunderous round of applause by the crowd present at the arena with people straining to catch a glimpse of Trump.
Escorted by UFC CEO Dana White, the former President greeted the broadcast team and even shook hands with color commentator Joe Rogan. This led to a post on Reddit by a user inquiring if the cordial greeting between the pair is a sign that Trump might be featured on Rogan’s immensely popular podcast soon.
However, the fans didn’t seem to be thrilled with the idea as they took to the comments section to make their thoughts known on the entire affair. Rogan has previously also indicated that he isn’t interested in providing a platform to the controversial politician and business mogul.

Joe Rogan says he has turned down multiple offers to have Donald Trump on his podcast:

In a conversation with Lex Fridman on his podcast in 2022, the UFC color commentator stated, “I’ve had the opportunity to have him on my show more than once. I’ve said no every time.”
Trump also became the first former American President to have been convicted of a felony as he was recently pronounced guilty on 34 charges in a case relating to hush money by a New York jury. As such, the fans don’t seem too thrilled about the idea of Trump being given a platform by Joe Rogan, and here’s a look at what they had to say about it.
Fans shut down the idea of Joe Rogan having Donald Trump on his podcast
A fan referenced Joe Rogan’s previous statements about declining Trump as a guest on the show but since the comment was made in 2022, it remains to be seen if the podcast host maintains the same stance as he did back then.
“As far as I know Trump has wanted to come on before but Joe has declined(?). I guess only time can tell if that has changed this time then”
One fan took a humorous jab at the former president by claiming that if they got a chance to interview Donald Trump, they would test his knowledge of “windmills”, which could be a reference to a speech the former president gave in 2023 where he claimed that “wind turbines” are responsible for, “whales to die in numbers never seen before”
“I would ask him to explain windmills. Tell me exactly how they’re built and engineering behind them.”
Another fan re-iterated Rogan’s statement about never having Trump on his podcast
“Hasn’t he already said he will never have him on?”
While some fans pointed out that Trump’s polarizing personality is the reason why he can only attend UFC and WWE events due to having previous associations with the companies
“Besides his own rallies, MMA and WWE are the only large events that Donald Trump can go to without getting completely boo’d.”
Some fans were more blunt in their responses
“I hope not”
But others pointed out that the former president has done a tour of podcasts before as such, they claimed that if Rogan is not an option, then comedian Theo Von’s ‘This Past Weekend’ podcast might be an alternate destination for him.
“Trump did the Nelk boys podcast and sat down with Dave portnoy….he’ll definitely be on Rogan before the election and if not Rogan then he’ll be on with Theo”

A fan also claimed that without Trump’s controversial foray into politics, he would have already received an invite to the JRE
“If Trump never got into politics he probably would have already been on”
And yet again, fans claimed that Rogan will remain firm in his decision to not provide a platform to Donald Trump

“Doubt it. Joe has turned him down in the past. He seems to still be on that trajectory”
In conclusion, it appears that the fans of the JRE would rather not see Donald Trump make an appearance on the podcast. With Joe Rogan having previously made it clear that “I don’t want to help him. I’m not interested in helping him”, a large majority of the fans seem to share the same sentiment regarding the former president being a guest on the show!
