UFC president Dana White in an interview with Fox News revealed how he kept the UFC show business alive during turbulent COVID times. He shared the story with the host Tucker Carlson and the MMA fans are in awe of the efforts put in by Dana.

During the interview, White revealed the problems he faced in organizing the events, the steps he took to help the employees, and his own personal COVID experience.

Dana White opens up about the turbulent times

While talking about his personal COVID experience, he said, “It was tough. Covid was the toughest thing I ever had to navigate in the history of this country. If you look at where we came from, that’s saying something. “

He added further, “My attitude was: this is America. We don’t quit. We don’t give up. We definitely don’t run and hide in our house itself. I figured there had to be a way.”

When the host Tucker Carlson asked him whether he thought of laying people off, Dana White declined. He asserted, “To just dump my employees the minute something bad happens, that’s not the way I am built.”

He, empathetically, added, “I would rather see the whole company burn and go down in flames before I would hurt my employees.” Dana also stated that he paid everyone in the organization.

Dana gave a detailed description of how they flew over with a private jet to the island and tested, again and again, multiple times until the event happened.

How the MMA fans reacted to White’s revelations

An MMA fan declared the UFC President, a true American, and he admired his never quit attitude.

He tagged White and wrote, “@Dana_WhiteUFC is a true American. Never say quit. When knocked down gets back up. Love this guy”

Another user pointed out how other people couldn’t replicate Dana and declared that Dana cared for the employees.

Another user applauded Dana for making it possible. He found an old-school phrase quite befitting for Dana’s efforts.
