The world of mixed martial arts cast a doubtful shadow at UFC 313, as Dana White welcomed Andrew and Tristan Tate to the venue with a hug. Of course, the doubt returns to the controversies that had engulfed the Tate brothers. However, the former kickboxers caught the fighting community’s eye with a brief interaction with Alexander Volkanovski. Do you wanna know what they talked about?

For starters, Tristan Tate is an avid fan of ‘The Great.’ He has taken to social media and has confessed that he loves the former featherweight champion.

Yes, Volkanovski is Tristan Tate’s favorite mixed martial artist! And that’s what the younger Tate decided to convey when he met the UFC star. Right after that, ‘King Cobra’ pointed out that Volkanovski must love their high kicks. Needless to say, being former professional kickboxers, the Tate brothers had pretty intense kicking skills. And Volkanovski had to agree on that. And with that, the three broke up and went their way. But it was not before Andrew Tate said, “See you soon.”

Why does Tristan Tate love Alexander Volkanovski?

Remember when Arman Tsarukyan pulled out of his fight against Islam Makhachev at UFC 311? Even though it was because he injured his back, the pullout left the main event in potential jeopardy. Dana White was forced to put the lightweight champion against Renato Moicano at the event.

But ‘The Great’ didn’t seem pleased with it. Replying to the UFC head honcho’s announcement on X, Volkanovski wrote, “Why didn’t you call me??”

This act showed that despite losing to Makhachev (twice already), the Australian was ready for a trilogy fight. Needless to say, this tweet greatly impressed the younger Tate brother. He took to X and responded to ‘The Great’s tweet, quoting, “This is why he’s my favorite UFC fighter.”
