The UFC interim heavyweight champion, Tom Aspinall has expressed his frustrations with the UFC as of late. Despite winning the Interim Heavyweight championship against Sergei Pavlovich at UFC 295, the promotion has kept him sidelined. Even after Jon Jones suffered an injury, they plan to not offer him marquee matchups. Despite the obvious booking of a fight against Stipe Miočić, it doesn’t look likely to happen. Aspinall has been calling out both Jones and Miocic as of late and this seems to have annoyed the heavyweight champion.
Aspinall’s constant callouts against Jones and Miocic seemed to have left a bad taste in the mouth of the heavyweight champ. The veteran champion took to Twitter to humble the newly crowned interim champion. Here is what Jones had to say.
