Covington and Masvidal standing with Trump—Does this show true loyalty or just a publicity stunt?

Donald Trump has been in the news for quite a few hours now. His rally in Pennsylvania turned out to be a dangerous situation as a man tried to fatally wound the former president with an assassination attempt. But guess what? Trump survived and an array of reactions, primarily from Jorge Masvidal and Colby Covington, who’ve always stood in support of the 78-year-old, followed soon.

Conor McGregor, Sean Strickland, and many more reacted to the shooting at Donald Trump’s rally. As per reports, the culprit, who was killed by the Secret Service Agents, fired eight rounds from his gun, which could only clip Donald Trump on his right ear, but still stood strong. Images of him raising his fist to his supporters while blood dripped out of his ear have gone viral on social media and a couple of standout UFC stars commended him for that grand gesture.

Following the incident at Donald Trump’s rally, Colby Covington lauded the former president for showing great character, while also praying for his and his family’s well-being. “President Trump is the toughest man on the face of this earth. God bless him and his family right now,” Covington posted on X. Meanwhile, his arch-nemesis and former friend-turned-foe, Jorge Masvidal, also shared his takeaway about Trump after he survived the shooting attempt.

Jorge Masvidal did not just offer support to Donald Trump. The retired UFC star also offered some suggestions to the former president’s supporters, asking them to condemn the people who were happy about this incident in Pennsylvania.

“God loves this man! I’m happy that President Trump is ok. The left knows no bounds! They say they are the non violent ones. They  will stop at nothing! Make sure you take screen shots of any leftist celebrating what happened today,” tweeted Jorge Masvidal.
