Ranked welterweight prospect, Sean Brady, ended 2021 on grand terms. Brady ended the year with a win over elite grappler Craig Jones at Fury Pro Grappling 3. At present, the undefeated MMA professional has set his eyes upon 2022 and has made the pick for his next opponent.

Interestingly, Brady wants to take on Stephen ‘Wonderboy’ Thompson on his next venture. The #9 welterweight also detailed various bouts. However, later dismissed them all as he was ‘realistic’. He argued that a bout with the top 5 is inconsiderable and the other top rankers would look for a title fight instead of him.

“Yeah, it’s a weird division. Honestly, I think I’m 9, Wonderboy’s 7. I don’t really see any other options right now. I know the guys in the top five, they only want guys higher than them or a title fight. And then, Neil Magny and me are training partners, we are not fighting each other. Then, there’s [Jorge] Masvidal. I am realistic. I know I am not getting that fight. So, I think me and Wonderboy [Stephen Thompson] would be a great fight.” Sean Brady explained in a conversation with The Schmo.
