Tony Ferguson’s seven tattoos are distributed all over his body. Each tattoo holds some sentimental value for the former interim lightweight champion. The largest and most prominent tattoo he has is on his back. This is a tattoo of a cross in the middle of his upper back, surrounded by wings that run almost the length of his back.
His right arm features three tattoos. On the upper part of it, ‘El Cucuy’ has a tribal motif, which is seen as a testament to the toughness and warrior-like spirit of tribal warriors, which he no doubt identifies with and hopes to bring with him to the Octagon. His inner lower forearm has his wife’s name ‘Cristina’ inked on it, along with his dog’s face, whom he considers part of his family.
On the outer right forearm, he has the name ‘Armand Anthony’ tattooed on it along with musical notes. This tattoo is in honor of his son and his passion for music. On his left arm, he has only one tattoo. Near his left wrist, Ferguson has had the letter ‘T’ tattooed on it, a reference to his own name.
On his right leg, Ferguson has the logo of USA Wrestling to show his love for his chosen sport. His final tattoo is of a cartoon warrior wielding a sword and wearing armor to again signify his warrior spirit and fighting style. But Ferguson is not the only one with prominent tattoos in the UFC.

Other popular UFC stars with prominent tattoos
As we have mentioned, many other UFC fighters have tattoos on their bodies, too. Conor McGregor, for example, seems fond of getting animals and regal motifs on his body. The Irishman has a gorilla wearing a crown on his chest to show he is the king of the sport, along with a tiger on his stomach.
