Tony Ferguson has sent an upsetting message to his opponent, who went for an X-rated rant against him. Ferguson will be fighting against Bobby Green at UFC 291 at the Vivint Arena in Salt Lake City, Utah. Their bout is scheduled for July 29, 2023, when Justin Gaethje and Dustin Poirier will come face-to-face in the main event to decide the new BMF champion. The fight card has some highly interesting bouts that have the potential to excite fans to the core. One of them is the clash between Ferguson and Green, who are both facing turbulent times in their fighting careers.

‘El Cucy’ lost all his last five fights, and currently, he stands at a record of 25 victories and eight losses. His last bout was against Nate Diaz at UFC 279. He lost the fight 2 minutes and 52 seconds into the fourth round via submission. His upcoming opponent, Bobby Green’s fighting career, is also going downhill. His last bout was considered a no-contest due to an accidental clash of heads and he also lost two bouts before that.

Ferguson took to his Instagram story to share an image of him and Green. The image also quoted the words of ‘King’, which said, “And no I ain’t punching some trees, I’m punching N*ggas.” Along with the image Ferguson wrote, “Talk To Much Kid. I Owe You A Few [punches] From Last Time You Got Stoop’ed -Champ.By having some bitter exchanges with each other, both Green and Ferguson have established a rivalry between themselves.

At this point in his career, it is important for Ferguson to win his upcoming match. ‘El Cucuy’ has earned a big name in his fighting career with some glorious victories.

However, now things have turned upside down after he faced five consecutive losses. Hence, winning the next bout is more of a do-or-die situation for Ferguson.Further, he had his eyes on another lucrative bout for which the UFC supposedly did not consider him.

After losing against Nate Diaz, Ferguson was trying his best to bounce back. To prove himself again, Ferguson wanted to be a part of the 31st season of The Ultimate Fighter. He wanted to coach against the Irish superstar Conor McGregor and later fight against him in the UFC octagon.

When UFC president Dana White announced that Michael Chandler would get the offer, ‘El Cucuy’ was highly disappointed. Under White’s post, he commented, “Ahhhh @danawhite A Little D.W.P W/ ChandlerBing You Don’t Call, You Don’t Write, No worries We’ll see you soon Buddy *mack.”

The message from Ferguson to Dana White proves that he had greater plans for himself, but nothing worked out. Nevertheless, at this point, Ferguson has received one more chance to prove his strength.
