Veterans Day is celebrated in the United States on November 11. Military veterans of the United States Armed Forces are honored on this day. UFC and its stars have always supported the armed forces of the US. Some UFC fighters visited the veterans and shared their stories. UFC, on its Twitter, posted a video of the fighters meeting some of them.

UFC wrote,UFC fighters spent the day with #veterans from @DAVHQ sharing stories and reflecting on how the “fight” never ends. Every year, DAV aids more than 1 million veterans by helping them access benefits they earned.”

Besides the promotion, many other fighters also took to social media to let their appreciation known.

UFC stars pay their tribute

Tony Ferguson was one of the first fighters to put out a post. He wrote, Salute Have A Great Veterans Day Mi Gente!!!- Champ. This Clip Is From Fight Week UFC 216 # VegasStrong -CSO- # AirIsUp.”

UFC two-division champion Amanda Nunes also took to Twitter to pay her respects and posted a photo.

Randy Couture retweeted a tweet from Xtreme Couture GI Foundation. This is a foundation that raises money & awareness assisting U.S. Military Veterans.

Former two-time UFC heavyweight champion, Stipe Miocic, who has always supported the veterans took to Instagram.

He posted, “Thank you to all that have served and are currently serving for our country. For the sacrifices, commitment, honor, and courage you demonstrate to our nation to serve, protect and keep us free. #VeteransDay.”

TJ Dillashaw, whose family has a history of serving in the military, posted on Instagram. He wrote, “To those who have served and fought to protect the greatest country on the planet.”

Michael Chandler, who is coming of war inside the octagon against Justin Gaethje, posted on Instagram as well. His caption said, “Cheers to the greatest country on the planet and those who have served and fought to protect it. Land of the free. Home of the brave. See you at the top!”
