Is Conor McGregor losing his edge, or is this just a bad day at the office?

Conor McGregor seems to be making the most of his healing time, to spend moments with his family and himself. He is even training a little as per his latest Instagram post! ‘The Notorious’ could not be present at UFC 303 because of his broken toe and had to withdraw at the last moment, with Alex Periera and Jiri Prochazka replacing McGregor and Michael Chandler on the main card. However, he is making most of his healing time spending it in other endeavors.

He was recently seen practicing his fighting stance in a video, even when he had just declared that he suffered a toe injury. The video showed him practicing shadowboxing in front of the mirror while recording the practice. The former dual weight champion might have injured himself, but he did not stop his training. ‘Mystic Mac’ has already endured a huge leg injury and surgery after the fight with Dustin Poirier two years ago and was supposed to come back, but maybe fate had other plans.

However, he previously hinted at his comeback and a new date while complimenting Alex Pereira for his UFC 303 win. ‘Poatan’ had defended Conor McGregor for pulling out of the fight, saying that injuries should not be compared. He had also highlighted how the 35-year-old could afford to take a break or withdraw from a fight, given his success and financial standing. This made McGregor elated, and he commented, “Real recognize real. Excited to secure my new date.”

So, fans might be anticipating his comeback, and this new video speaks for itself. Meanwhile, the video did get a few comments from fans and they were pretty versatile.

Even with the toe injury, McGregor seems to be active in his personal life. The fans were pretty surprised when McGregor was spotted with his son in a playful wrestling session. ‘The Notorious’ was on his knees because of his injured toe and was training his son who had remarkable technique at this young age and pulled off an arm drag. Along with that, the new video of shadowboxing also caught the fans by surprise who commented on his technique.

One fan criticized it and said, “Stiff af,” while another follower pointed out how he might be helping Jiri Prochazka since the fighter was defeated with a high kick by Pereira, “Showing Jiri how to keep their hands high.”

McGregor is pretty active even with the injury and trains with his son and alone as well. He was training his son and even put Lil McGregor in a gentle, rear-naked choke before the video ended. Fans commented on that video and cheered for him. However, the recent video has got some criticism. One follower said, “ You sure? Looks like a rap video dance,” while another wrote, “Damn but the fans never getting back the OG Conor.”
