Sean Strickland and Israel Adesanya are all set to fight each other in UFC 293. Without a doubt, the two fighters have not spared a moment to shoot words at each other. But after a bride ceasefire, Strickland roared with a battle cry on Twitter. Surprisingly, Strickland didn’t back down from attacking the middleweight champion’s connection with China.
Adesanya initially wanted to go against Dricus Du Plessis, who rightfully earned the chance to fight for the middleweight title by beating Robert Whittaker at UFC 290. He wanted to settle the ‘real African’ debate once and for all. However, things didn’t work out since Du Plessis required a bit more time to recover. In his stead, Strickland entered the arena, leaving Adesanya in disappointment. Nevertheless, the Nigerian fighter finally agreed to give him a chance.

Strickland previously attacked ‘The Last Stylebender’ in an X-rated rant. He mocked the time Adesanya spent in China to train and develop his fighting skills. The fighter’s struggle in the Chinese lands to become the kickboxing champion was indeed pivotal. But little did he know that he was going to be mocked because of that.
Meh I'll get it worked out…..
To war china man…. 🇺🇸 vs 🇨🇳
— Sean Strickland (@SStricklandMMA) August 8, 2023
Strickland broke the silence and raised the hype for the fight. He took to Twitter and wrote, “Meh I’ll get it worked out….. To war china man….” Furthermore, he dropped emojis of the US flag versus the Chinese flag.
Without a doubt, such acts add up to the storyline of the fights. But it wasn’t the first time Strickland made such claims. Nevertheless, things are set to be settled at Sydney, inside the Octagon.

UFC’s ‘Tarzan’ previously mocked the middleweight champion during a press conference on ESPN 47. The rant simply invoked the rivalry between the two fighters. He mocked, “Izzy the Chinese, true Chinese. They probably want to bring a real African back to the championship. Hey, can you guys believe that sh*t? Is that real when he says, ‘look at the color of my skin.’ Did that really happen? Is that real?”
In another interview, with ‘The Schmo’, Strickland believed that winning the fight against Adesanya was, in fact, the easy part. The trouble lay in getting a fight contract done. But the fighter’s confidence was quite high. Now, it’s all up to time to reveal the victor.
