Joe Rogan may not be the easiest person to impress. He recently had magician and illusionist David Blaine on the ‘Joe Rogan Experience’ as a guest. The 50-year-old performed a magic trick for the JRE host. However, Rogan was not impressed, as he found out the secret behind the trick.

David Blaine is often known for some of the most impressive and high-profile feats of endurance. He has set many records and even broken some of them as well. However, his recent attempt to leave a mark on Joe Rogan was unsuccessful. Let’s see what transpired during the recent episode of the million-dollar JRE podcast.

Joe Rogan uncovered the secret from one of David Blaine’s tricks

The 56-year-old UFC commentator-cum-podcast host is known for inviting guests from various walks of life. As such, he had David Blaine on his show, who wanted to show Joe Rogan a magic trick. To start the trick, Blaine put a piece of thread in his mouth, which he ended up swallowing.

Then he called Rogan over to show that the thread would now come out of his chest and asked him to pull it out. When the JRE host pulled out the thread from his chest, he did not seem too impressed with that.

However, David Blaine mentioned that he had another version of the trick. This time, he swallowed the thread that Joe Rogan had pulled out from his chest. This time, the thread came out of his chin below the jaw. Blaine asked Rogan to pull it out. This would have left many people in awe, but not Joe Rogan.

Rogan said, “So you essentially use a needle and shove it through the bottom of your jaw and people think it’s coming out of your mouth.” He just uncovered the truth behind the trick. Although David Blaine could not impress Joe Rogan this time, he has performed some of the most mind-boggling stunts throughout his career. Let’s take a look at some of them.

Some of Blaine’s biggest magic tricks

David Blaine has been performing stunts and tricks for a long time. In those years, he has created some impressive moments. From levitating to holding his breath underwater for 17 minutes, there is no end to what Blaine can do. He once buried himself alive for seven days. For that, the 50-year-old buried stayed inside a glass coffin in his first public endurance test in 1999. Interestingly, he managed to survive that just by drinking liquids.

Another one of his stunts involved catching a bullet. For many people, it would be an absurd thing to do, but not David Blaine. He put a piece of metal in his mouth as the man with the gun fired the bullet. This could have proved to have some fatal consequences, but the bullet got deflected after hitting the piece of metal in Blaine’s mouth. Moreover, nobody was hurt in the process.

David Blaine has the ability to leave people in awe and wanting more. But that did not happen with Joe Rogan.
