The first immediately went to the ground in the first round. Michelle Waterson-Gamez secured a takedown and was all over Marina Rodriguez. However, both fighters got up and resumed their fight with strikes. But then again, it was Rodriguez’s time to secure a takedown of her own. The Brazilian busted Waterson-Gamez with some lethal elbow and knee strikes.

The fight stopped for a moment as ‘The Karate Hottie’ had to get checked by the doctor. But she resumed fighting nonetheless. Moreover, Marina Rodriguez would not stop with her strikes as the referee called the fight to stop.
Michelle Waterson-Gomez looked helpless against the barrage of strikes from the Brazilian. She was in tears after the fight for failing to get a victory for the fourth time in a row. The fans, on the other hand, believe that it might be time for her to step away.
