Both Rogan and Distefano started talking about the importance of giving priority to personal life over professional life. That’s when Rogan said it was impossible for him to stay away from his family for more than three days.
The 55-year-old said, “I didn’t miss nearly as much as I would have missed if I was doing the road all the time. I go out of my way to do little things that my kids do, events and hang with them. We try to watch movies together and do stuff together, play together. You got to like have fun together and I think if you are gone for like long stretches.”
Talking further on the same subject, Rogan continued, “I don’t like being gone for three days, like three days f*cks up my feelings. Three days make me uncomfortable. I love doing stuff. Like I love going on vacation.”
The former martial artist also said that, for him, spending time with family is more important than anything. “Vacations are some of my favorite times because then we are with each other 24×7. And we get to f*ck around and go swimming. And do cool sh*t and yeah go fishing and have fun, you know. It’s like you don’t realize how quick it goes by man. It goes by so fast.” mentioned Rogan.
