Chuck Liddell remembered his former co-star Paul Walker in his latest social media post. The UFC veteran shared the silver screen with Hollywood actor when the pair joined hands for a 2007 project, ‘The Death and Life of Bobby Z’. Centered around a mafia backdrop and a decorated prison sequence, the movie employed the services of the former UFC light heavyweight champion. Almost 15 years since the release of the movie, the UFC Hall of Famer is now “reflecting” on the cherished memories he shared with the Hollywood star.
The 53-year-old is often credited with popularizing and elevating the UFC to soaring heights in its early days. His nerves of steel and zeal to fight were unparallel as well as his intent to trade blows. As a result, the popularity of ‘The Ice Man’ skyrocketed along with the promotion and he also started picking up roles in Hollywood. This also landed him the role of ‘Maddog’ in ‘Bobby Z’ alongside ‘Fast and Furious’ fame, Paul Walker.
