Amidst the constant trolling of ‘Poatan’, the two-time middleweight champion shared a message on social media.

Israel Adesanya expresses his opinion on cross dressing

Izzy shared a story on Instagram expressing his opinion of people wearing clothing designed for the opposite genders, or in simple terms, cross-dressers. The title of the story: “The year of our lord 2073.” He also shared a comment on his story.

Adesanya said, 

“This is the world now that exists for your children. Hahaha, life is one big cartoon.”

In a subsequent story, the UFC champion also said, “My outfits are for style, comfy, and for me.” Adesanya claims that he wears his outfits to showcase styles with a level of comfort. He added, “I never tell anyone how to express them.”

How good is ‘The Last Stylebender’s fashion sense?

Israel Adesanya is one of the few UFC stars, besides Conor McGregor, who has a distinctive sense of fashion. He likes to make sure to stand out with his outfits from the rest of the fighters during press conferences or in any other public appearances. His fighting style represents his fashion sense, throwing a flurry of combinations that flash in front of his opponent’s eyes.

Adesanya’s nickname ‘The Last Stylebender’ signifies his exuberant style, which he derives from pop culture and, sometimes, anime characters. He was even voted third by the UFC fans in 2021 for being one of the best-dressed fighters, behind Kamaru Usman and Max Holloway.
