Every once in a while, Conor McGregor leaves fans scratching their heads with his social media posts. The Irishman has a prominent social media presence. He regularly posts about his life, and his workouts, and engages with fans from time to time. However, ‘Mystic Mac’ sometimes leaves fans flabbergasted with his social media activities, as he did with a recent post.

McGregor recently posted a video on Twitter that drew quite a few reactions from fans. This quick clip reminded fans of some of his earlier videos that sparked concerns among his followers.

Fans react to the latest Conor McGregor Twitter clip

Conor McGregor posted a clip on Twitter with a monkey face filter. The 34-year-old appeared to be hinting at his return in the clip. “I told you I’ll be back. Wakey wakey,” he said. However, this new stunt did not go down well with a lot of fans.

Many of them had hilarious responses for the former UFC double champ. One fan made a funny comparison between McGregor and his own dad.

Another fan joked, calling him a sleep paralysis demon.

Another response saw McGregor being compared to the violent chimp from the movie ‘Nope.’

One fan turned McGregor’s moniker of ‘champ champ’ on itself, calling him ‘chimp chimp’.

A second movie comparison saw a fan make a joke on the Planet of the Apes franchise.

Another fan observed how this was not the weirdest McGregor post he had seen.

One fan simply found the tweet scary.

This is not the first time Conor McGregor has posted weird videos that raised concern among fans. He once shared a video of him enjoying ice cream. Fans had a lot of responses for McGregor, who appeared to be intoxicated in the brief clip.

Back in February 2022, Conor McGregor sparked concern among fans with a viral clip of him eating ice cream. McGregor was still in recovery from his horrific injury at UFC 264 when he posted the clip. McGregor had previously vowed to abstain from alcohol, including his own brands of whiskey and Irish stout.

Several fans responded to his post, expressing their disapproval of his behavior. Some voiced their opinion that McGregor would never be a champion in the UFC again. McGregor has since then shared the progress of his recovery and resumed full contact sparring. He posted videos of the same on his social media as well.

The Irishman is eyeing a return to the octagon sometime next year. He recently wrapped up shooting for his Hollywood debut film Road House. However, as recently revealed, the former champion will have to enter the USADA testing pool and get cleared before he can compete again.
