In a new video he posted on Twitter, Prochazka said, “I may decide for next fight. And I wanna fight Glover the next fight. Not because it will be another big fight. But just one reason. My performance was bad in first fight.”
“And I will show you why I am the champion. …Glover deserves it.”

However, the former light heavyweight champion, Jan Blachowicz, is not happy with Prochazka. ‘The Polish Power’ wrote, “”Jan is for me the biggest challenge” – your words. Respect you Champ, but the samurai code was not upheld.”
Prochazka replied, “With Glover, it’s a matter of honor and duty to show pure Fight. This is more than a challenge.”

The Polish fighter got to defend his title just once against Israel Adesanya (UFC 259) and later lost it to Teixeira (UFC 267).

Teixeira, in turn, lost the title to Prochazka. Hence, it is not surprising to see that Blachowicz wants to face the champion soon. However, it looks like he will have to wait until after the Teixeira rematch.
Will Glover Teixeira accept the rematch against Jiri Prochazka?
As a title fight is not something that comes by very often, it seems likely that the veteran fighter will accept the rematch.

Further, in an interview with ‘MMA Junkie‘, Teixeira stated he wanted an immediate rematch. The 42-year-old does not mind a fight in Brazil or even in his opponent’s country. He does not care about the location, but just wants a rematch against Prochazka.
Teixeira, who was thinking about retirement leading up to his first title defense, does not want to leave the sport after enduring a tough loss. After all, he lost through submission for the first time in his long MMA career.
