The UFC’s lightweight division is an interesting place for fighters to be. In what is a stacked weight class, there are a lot of good bouts to be made. One such fight took place at UFC 274, where Charles Oliveira defeated Justin Gaethje via submission. While the whole combat sports community reacted to Oliveira’s victory, Conor McGregor had something to say to the former title challenger.

McGregor, on his Twitter, shared a post that seemed to bash Justin Gaethje. The post contained an image from UFC 274 where Charles Oliveira submitted ‘The Highlight’. A message in the picture said, “Before the fight Gaethje keeps saying he won’t ever tap, and ends up tapping and going to sleep both in Khabib and Oliveira fights. He also called Oliveira a quitter”

Sharing the post, Conor McGregor captioned it, saying, “This absolute clown! The aul pretend to be asleep after he tapped as well lol. Jacka**”

While ‘The Notorious‘ took shots at Justin Gaethje, it is important to note that Conor McGregor has been busy this week taking shots at a few other fighters too.

Conor McGregor responded to call-outs from Charles Oliveira and Michael Chandler

UFC 274 was an important night for the UFC lightweight division, as some of its top contenders were active. Two such top and victorious contenders that night were Michael Chandler and Charles Oliveira.

In his post-fight interview with Joe Rogan, Charles Oliveira called out Conor McGregor. ‘Do Bronx’ said, “Hey Conor McGregor, are you coming up, or are you going to run away? ”

‘The Notorious’ was quick to reply to the champ. Taking to his Twitter account, McGregor posted a tweet, saying, “I’m not sure I wish to cut the weight. I am really enjoying being built like a refrigerator. I feel I want to fight at this size just to watch it back lol. But I’d love to fight the Brazilian, 100%! I love Brazil and I’m unbeaten against Brazil. All KO’s. I’ve some thinking to do.

Michael Chandler also called out Conor McGregor. After his vicious knockout of Tony Ferguson, ‘Iron’ said he wanted McGregor for a fight at 170 pounds.

The Irish fighter replied to Chandler via Twitter, saying, “I’d have a nice knock off this guy, no doubt about it. A firework spectacle. I like the 170 shout also. Tipped him over. I’m definitely game to fight this guy at some stage in my career. I see it happening after tonight. Congrats on a solid win Michael and another barnstormer.”
