Conor McGregor’s teammate Dillon Danis is also a professional mixed martial artist, just like him. Danis competes in the welterweight division at Bellator and currently holds a professional record of 2 wins and no losses. He is well trained in the art of Jiu-Jitsu and also is the holder of the prestigious black belt.

The 28-year-old Danis recently took to his Twitter to give fans a lucky chance to win 3000 dollars. He wrote,” If Jorge Masvidal beats Colby Covington I’ll give one person who likes this tweet $3,000… on god. Must be following to win!”

Fans react to Dillon Danis and his offer

Some fans posted screenshots of them following him and commented in hopes to win the $3,000. Others took this as a chance to troll the MMA fighter.

Jake Shields also responded to Danis and wrote, “damn you are thirsty for followers.” This is not the first time that Danis has been accused of being desperate for fame. In the build-up to McGregor’s bout against Khabib, many fans slammed Dillon Danis for trying to get attention from McGregor’s fame.

Another fan took a hilarious dig at Dillon Danis. He wrote, ‘If Dillon Danis leaves social media for 1 year, I’ll give one person who likes this tweet $3,000 … On god. Must be following to win!’ The comment has received 19 likes from Twitter users as of now.

One user wrote,” Give that $3,000 to the bouncer that choked you.” He said this in reference to the altercation Danis had with a security guard last year. The argument didn’t end up pretty for Danis. He got taken down by a rear-naked choke applied by the security guard.

Another user took this as a chance to slam Danis for his fighting skills. He wrote,” You don’t have anywhere near $3k. You’ve been on jobseekers allowance for 3 years. Only way you could’ve saved that up is not going to striking lessons for 20 years. So yeah maybe you do.”
