Climate protestors have been grabbing headlines lately because of their unusual methods of protest. Recently, a group of young climate activists made the news after they threw soup on a Van Gogh painting in the London National Gallery. After defacing the painting, they glued themselves to the wall. A similar incident has now incited a reaction from UFC commentator Joe Rogan.

In a recent Instagram post, Rogan called out another protest from a group of activists. The original news had a few twists in it. Rogan’s reaction to it was also hilarious.

Joe Rogan makes fun of miserably failed climate protest

In a move that evoked the London National Gallery incident, a group of climate activists glued themselves to a Porsche car museum. In a hilarious turn of events, the staff at the museum left the activists to protest and simply left the outlet. They also turned off the lights and the heat on their way out.

Joe Rogan shared the headline of this news on his Instagram. His caption read: “These dopes probably just wanted to meet the girls that threw soup on the Van Gogh.” Certain UFC vets, along with other fans, had some hilarious reactions to Rogan’s post.

“If we just leave them there for a couple days they’ll realize how dumb their idea was from the beginning. Soon they’ll have their own podcast with the “Catch me outside” girl,” said former UFC lightweight Josh Thompson. “And that’s product of baby making,” said UFC’s Cody Garbrandt.

“This is the correct procedure to deal with people who just want attention: give them none,” wrote another fan. “Look man, I’m all for saving the climate. But what do they think they’re going to change with these kinds of protests? I don’t understand the motivation,” wrote another.

“Climate protestors using superglue that requires petrochemicals to make it super sticky to protest. That’s a real message right there,” observed another fan. “Leave them there till they get freed from the super glue then arrest them for stupidity,” wrote yet another fan.

When Rogan gave his thoughts on climate change

Joe Rogan expressed his views on climate change in an episode of JRE. He agreed that climate change and rising temperatures were real. However, he added that the climate has always been like that, but people ignore that fact.

Rogan said that if you widen the timeframe, then the spike in temperatures will start looking normal. He was of the opinion that to understand the true impact humans have on climate change, you need to widen the time frame considered.
