UFC CEO Dana White has found himself in the crosshairs of internet trolls! This time it wasn’t about fighters or anything to do with the Octagon. Rather, it was about something beyond the fight game, altogether. Dana White’s appearance at President Donald Trump’s second inauguration was already bound to turn heads. But a picture of the UFC boss at the event, standing alongside some major political figures lit the fuse for a fan frenzy.

In the image making the rounds on social media, Dana White stood alongside former presidents Barack Obama and George W. Bush. Over the years, White has been a vocal Trump supporter, often lauding the former president’s resilience and hard work.

In fact, after Trump’s remarkable victory last year, White stated at an event at the Mar-a-Lago estate, “Couldn’t stop him, he keeps going forward, he doesn’t quit, he’s the most resilient, hard-working man I’ve ever met in my life, his family are incredible people.”

However, the UFC boss wasn’t the only notable figure present at the celebration for the 47th President of the US. JRE (Joe Rogan Experience) host and UFC color commentator Joe Rogan also attended the ceremony. Notably, Trump appeared on his famous podcast shortly before the elections and the episode currently sits at 54 million views on YouTube.

Giants from the tech industry like Mark Zuckerberg, Tim Cook, Jeff Bezos, and Elon Musk were also spotted in the audience. Yet, all the UFC fans couldn’t stop taking shots at Dana White after the image of him was shared on Instagram by Most Valuable Promotions with the caption, “What’s Dana White thinking?”

Well, the fans certainly had a lot of ideas, and here’s a look at what the netizens had to say!

Fans roast Dana White as UFC boss goes viral standing alongside Barack Obama and George W.Bush

Fans of the UFC didn’t hold back their reactions, bringing their trademark humor and sarcasm to the forefront. Some claimed that UFC’s undisputed heavyweight champion Jon Jones was on Dana White’s mind at the moment. The fight between Jones and interim champion Tom Aspinall remains something the fans have been clamoring for since ‘Bones’ win over Stipe Miocic at UFC 309! The user stated, “*takes a deep breath*….”i wish Jon was here to see this”

Others took shots at both White and Joe Rogan. Well, the UFC boss wouldn’t have to wonder about it as the JRE host was present at the inauguration. However, he wasn’t standing alongside Barack Obama and George W. Bush like White. During White’s previously mentioned speech at Mar-a-Lago, he thanked “the mighty and powerful Joe Rogan” along with a list of other podcasters and influencers who had given Trump a platform during his campaign run. The user tweeted, “If they let me in, they’ll definitely let Joe Rogan in too”

But what about a strange pairing that showed up at the event? Conor McGregor and the Paul brothers, Logan and Jake, all were right beside each other in a bus traveling to the event. ‘The Notorious’ and Logan Paul were recently also linked to an exhibition boxing bout in India that cast a lot of speculation on McGregor’s future. So, could Dana White have been thinking about them showing up to the event together and the deeper meaning behind it? A user posted, “I can’t believe Conor would betray my love for him and join forces with Jake Paul”

Meanwhile, one fan posted, “bro thinking of excuses for tom aspinall vs jon jones not happening”. The Jones vs Aspinall fight also reared up its head once more as the fans claimed that the UFC head honcho was preoccupied with the fight in the picture. While rumors suggested that ‘Bones’ was seeking a $30 million payday to consider fighting Aspinall, there haven’t been any official confirmations yet. In a previous interview, White confessed, “It’s not as easy to put these types of fights together as people think, they take time. We’ll get it done.”

And yet, again White’s passionate defense of Jon Jones’s ‘P4P’ (pound for pound) status was pointed out by the fandom. However, the UFC boss may have had a change in opinion. Why? After Islam Makhachev demolished Renato Moicano at UFC 311, White stated in the post-fight press conference, “Don’t be d***’s. I just admitted I’m giving it to [Makhachev], he’s the pound-for-pound.” Well, one user mentioned, “Jon Jones is the greatest fighter to ever set foot on this planet.”
