With such a decorated career, it shouldn’t be a surprise to anyone that Jones has garnered a huge fan following. Over the years, the UFC star has regularly conducted meet-and-greets for his fanbase, and one of those recently went viral on the internet due to something special about the event.

Recently, Jon Jones appeared at a meet-and-greet event organized by Anthony Pettis-owned APFC in Wisconsin. While many other names from MMA were present, fans were especially excited to see Jon Jones, who is coming off a successful heavyweight debut and winning the heavyweight title. As expected, fans were excited to see their star in person. However, two fans did something that made this meetup go viral on the internet. The two men, dressed in all-black outfits, were wearing t-shirts bearing Jones’ picture from his mugshot. Although it’s not unusual for fans to wear celebrity t-shirts, the image of Jones’ mugshot made it unique.

Despite this, Jones had a calm reaction to this and took the joke with laughter. In the past, Jon Jones has found himself in multiple legal troubles, including a hit-and-run case and, more recently, an assault on his fiancé, resulting in him being in jail multiple times. For those unaware, a mugshot is a picture taken by law enforcement units at the time of arrest or legal custody. While this is not the first time something like this has happened to a celebrity, the former light heavyweight champion was the calmest out of all of them. A few days ago, Jones’s fellow UFC star, Kevin Holland was also on the receiving end of a prank, but that one crossed the boundaries of decency.
