Valentina Shevchenko has been in the news lately for all the wrong reasons. The 36-year-old is currently serving as a coach in season 32 of The Ultimate Fighting Championship (TUF). ‘Bullet’ is competing opposite reigning UFC Flyweight champion, Alexa Grasso. The duo is currently preparing for their trilogy fight in the near future after their last encounter ended as a draw.

Shevchenko has currently implemented a ‘no water’ policy during her training sessions, which has raised some eyebrows. Fan favorite analyst Chael Sonnen recently took to his YouTube channel to share his opinion on the whole. Just like most experts, ‘Uncle Sonnen’ is also not quite impressed with it.

The first episode of the latest edition of TUF aired last Tuesday, where ‘Bullet’ revealed her strict hydration rules. According to the former champion, her teammates are prohibited from consuming water during training sessions. Shevchenko believes this would help build the champion mentality in her teammates. However, Sonnen doesn’t quite agree with it and feels this is the wrong approach. He took to his YouTube channel and said, “So when she got pitted on the Ultimate Fighter. Like, I can’t think of two coaches I would want to see less or that I would have predicted less than Chevchenko and Grosso. But the great news to this, I don’t think she can hide that long.”

The former UFC fighter then went on to discuss how Shevchenko is kind of faking her niceness. According to him, she will soon get back to her original character. He further added, “But there’s a reason they don’t do that and that reason is no matter how good of actor they are they read a couple of lines then they stop. They go break character. They turn the camera they read a couple of more lines. Nobody can hold it. You can’t hold the act.”

The 54-year-old was quick to pick his favorite and said, “Boxing? I would have to go with Anderson Silva in the boxing match.” Sonnen seemed a bit disappointed with White but he shared his game plan, which would help him win the fight. The 56-year-old said, “Dana thinks that [Silva] is going to win because he is not armed with the information Daniel that I plan to cheat. The fight will be taking place in the 216-pound division, marking the debut of Sonnen in a boxing clash.
