Controversial judging outcomes have been a consistent topic of debate within the UFC. There have been numerous instances where judges’ scoring has faced heavy scrutiny from fans, fighters, and analysts. These decisions can often bring about major changes in a fighter’s career. Recently, the fight between Kai Kara-France and Amir Albazi took place at the APEX facility in Las Vegas, Nevada. The bout concluded with a split-decision victory for Albazi.
Albazi is the seventh-ranked flyweight in the promotion. He won over Kai Kara-France, who holds the third position in the 125-pound division. Nevertheless, the judge’s ruling was widely criticized and sparked controversy, with some going as far as claiming it was nothing less than a robbery. Currently, Israel Adesanya, the UFC middleweight champion and also a teammate of ‘Don’t Blink’, has expressed his dismay over the unjust scoring by the UFC judges. Adesanya emphasized the detrimental impact such practices can have on a fighter’s entire career and aspirations.

Soon after the judges raised Albazi’s hand, Adesanya said, “They rob you of your moment. They rob you not just of your money but the moment. Like money comes and goes but those moments man.
