The inception of the atomic bomb had put mankind in a position of massive destruction. There were missiles and bombs before the nukes. However, none of these had the ability to bring out the ferocity of the sun. It still baffles the mind of modern-day scientists how Robert J. Oppenheimer and his team understood the complexity of atoms, gathered the necessary materials, and built a weapon that possesses the ability to annihilate the entire mankind once and for all in a matter of few years. On July 16, 1945 mankind for the very first time witnessed a weapon of mass destruction.

Recently Christopher Nolan’s new movie “Oppenheimer” was in the news. The movie showcased the backstory behind the making of the atomic bomb. On Joe Rogan‘s JRE podcast, Alex Berenson and the podcast host discussed Christopher Nolan’s new movie, Oppenheimer and the threats of nukes.

Unbelievable! They just looked inside the atom with their mind, right? Unbelievable. They figured out how this works, and they took metal, and they made sun, okay? They made an explosion like the sun. They figured it out in a matter of years. It was so scary to people. The threat that nuclear weapons posed that we actually kinda of got it under control. We never used them after 1945.”
