While UFC Vegas 58 proved to be a night full of thrilling fights, the event also had some questionable decisions. Michael Johnson came out at the wrong end of one such decision in his fight against Jamie Mullarkey. Fans and critics hit out at the judges for their decision. UFC Fighter Cortney Casey, who herself lost a similar decision, also came out in the support of ‘The Menace’.
Casey and Johnson, who were both at the receiving end of controversial decisions, supported each other and received support from fans online. Casey mentioned that while she was upset with the outcome of her fight, Johnson should be angry about his. The fighter also tagged UFC President Dana White in her tweet.

At UFC Vegas 58, Cortney Casey took on Antonina Shevchenko, the sister of Valentina Shevchenko. Most of this fight was contested on the feet while there were some grappling exchanges, too.
While Shevchenko maintained distance and tried to land her strikes, Casey seemed to be the aggressor. Even when on her back, Casey landed strikes and caused damage. However, this wasn’t enough, as the judges handed ‘La Pantera’ a split decision (29-28, 28-29, 29-28).
