Conor McGregor is not one to mince his words. One of the reasons the ‘Notorious’ is so popular is his trash-talking skills and verbosity on the mic. It has also helped him succeed inside the Octagon by getting under his opponents’ skins. The Irishman has been out of the fight scene for two years, recovering from a broken leg he suffered in his UFC 264 loss against Dustin Poirier.

And the biggest hurdle between him and a UFC return seemed to be the USADA. And with the UFC splitting from the anti-doping body starting in 2024, in part caused by ‘Mac,’ it seemed the coast was clear for his comeback. However, ahead of their official split, the former two-division champion has revealed something that surprised the MMA world.

Conor McGregor had officially joined the USADA testing pool a few days ago. And in a tweet, the Dubliner revealed that the agency had tested him twice in a day, barely an hour apart. They took both three blood and urine samples on each occasion.

“I was tested two separate times yesterday, and within an hour of each other. Blood and urine. 3 samples of each were requested and given in both instances. They came aboard my yacht. I welcomed them. Gave them a can of @ForgedStout and a ProperWhiskey. Life is good. (praying hands emoji),” McGregor tweeted.

He posted a video from his yacht with the tweet, which shows a small boat with USADA officials coming towards it. Ever the gracious host, McGregor did give the officials some of his formerly owned company Proper No. 12’s beer and whiskey.

And in characteristic McGregor fashion, he doubled down on his defiance. He tweeted Leonardo DiCaprio‘s famous gif after he was confronted by IRS agents on his yacht in Martin Scorsese’s The Wolf of Wall Street.
