The mouth-watering fight card of UFC 285 is around the corner. Adorned by UFC stars like Holly Holm, Valentina Shevchenko, Jon Jones, and many others, the card promises to be a banger. However, the announcement of the women’s flyweight champion as the co-main event raised a few eyebrows. Besides, the former light heavyweight champion Jon Jones assumed the headliner responsibilities. However, there are other reasons to be excited about the event.
The two of the most acclaimed fighters in the promotion, ‘Bones’ and ‘Bullet’, might be closely connected, as hinted by UFC veteran, Chael Sonnen. Further, the submission grappler alluded to the past the trio of Jones, Shevchenko, and Holm might have shared.

Notably, the 45-year-old sat with the famed comic, Andrew Schulz. The two conjured all the dots and reached the conclusion that the Albuquerque resident was in a romantic entanglement with Shevchenko. It was a foregone conclusion that the same would come to light. The MMA analyst dropped hints throughout the conversation that the comedian was quick to connect.

The MMA fighter-turned-analyst recalled the incident when the Kyrgyzstani champion defended Jones after the latter was arrested. Subsequently, Schulz inferred, “Maybe Jon Jones was like, in an intimate relationship, perhaps with Holly Holm. And then Bullet Shevchenko came in and stole Jon Jones.”
Further, realizing the complications, he mentioned, “So Holly would fight the Bullet and Holly would want to get revenge on the girl that stole her man.”
This prompted the former Bellator fighter to point out additional details. Thus, he added, “And the Bullet who lives here got assigned to the March 4th card which Jon Jones headline. And they are in the same hotel right now.”
This revelation made the standup comic realize it was a wrong fight. However, his co-host believed it was an incredible tale that needed to be disclosed publicly.

The Oregon native said, “But imagine that happened and they came out and they told the world instead of hiding behind it. Imagine the interest you could possibly have.”

However, the slotting of a non-world title fight was a problem for them. While that could be changed, it would require courage from both of them.
