The two were having some deep conversations about how social media platforms are eating up people’s privacy. The YouTuber suggested the necessity of having a fine boundary when it comes to exposing people’s lives on social media. He remarked that people should know what to keep private and what to keep public.
According to Cofeezilla, it is never a good idea to expose your entire life on social media platforms. That’s when Rogan cut in to talk about how the thirst of parents for social media fame affects kids. There are people who upload videos of their kids on Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, etc., where they can garner a huge number of viewers.
This results in the kids becoming famous at a very young age. However, the 55-year-old feels that this can destroy the lives of the kids.
Rogan said, “You are also not asking your kids. Your kids are going to get famous when they are babies and then they don’t have any say in it. And then, as they get older, people know them and then you run all sorts of security issues because of that too. And this is not wise and there are a lot of people that don’t think, they just do it.”

Fame is not a good thing for kids!
Rogan was clearly against parents who make their kids famous without thinking about the consequences of the action.
Talking on the same topic, he further added, “If the kid becomes famous when they are young, they are in so much trouble. There are very few people that ever survived being famous when they are young. They all come out fucked up. It’s not a normal way to develop. Fame is a drug that you have to develop a tolerance for and if you don’t, develop that tolerance.”
