Joe Rogan continues to divide opinions with his blunt remarks and his tearing up of authorities with his unadulterated ideas. While he has a long list of takers, some also decline to buy into his comments. One such take took the internet by storm when he recently put forth his claim on the January 6 incident. Those statements pointed toward Ray Epps as the center of turmoil. Now Stephen A. Smith has come up with his own take on the UFC commentator’s claims. Which side has the ESPN star picked?
Notably, Rogan in a recent JRE episode declared it a “fact” that the intelligence agencies provoked people. Further, he mentioned how the authorities arrested every perpetrator, but “this guy [Ray Epps] wasn’t”. Rogan then argued Epps “clearly instigated” the insurrection. These statements blew up and even attracted the attention of Stephen A. Smith. However, the NBA analyst remained clueless about the righteousness of these claims.

The 55-year-old sports journalist, appearing on his podcast, mentioned he had “no clue” about what Rogan talked about. He had no idea whether the color commentator was right or wrong. But he knew Rogan held sway over millions of people.
Smith said, “Joe Rogan yo y’all, he’s the king. Brother got over 15 million followers on his show subscribers. Me been doing it for a hell of a long time, and what I hope to accomplish in this position, owning and operating this show myself, is what he has already accomplished.”
Following this, the famed sports TV personality suggested he might not agree with a lot of what $120 million worth Rogan said. In addition, he clarified that he also hadn’t delved deep enough to think about conspiracy theories. But he certainly had a “news flash.”
Smith speaks his mind on Rogan’s controversial statements
Smith stated, “I don’t think Donald Trump is fit for office”. The Sports radio host then disclosed he was unhappy over the fact that the former POTUS was a leading candidate.
After providing this political backdrop, Smith announced, “There’s a lot of people who believe exactly what Joe Rogan stated. And if you want to knock him [Donald Trump] off in a general election, you better listen to what the other side is.”
