There is a reason combat sports have been divided into weight classes. Size and weight can be decisive factors in MMA and to keep the fights fair, it’s important to find the right match between skills and physical factors. Yet fights between fighters from different weight classes have often intrigued the MMA world. Real Xtreme Fighting, a promotion out of Romania, has shared a similar fight video on Instagram.
The video is from a women’s fight and fans have reacted to the video. The fighters appeared to be of different weights and the heavier fighter appeared to be in control after taking a few blows from the smaller fighter.

The fight between Tatianna and Ailene Ruxandra drew a lot of comments from fans, and they had varied reactions to the visuals. While there were a few voices about the weight difference, fans backed their favorite fighters in the match-up.
MMA Fans react to Xtreme Real Fighting video
Fans were quick to share what they felt about the fight between the two fighters from different weight divisions.
A fan commented, “This is not sports!”, the fan was clearly not happy about the difference between the weights of the two fighters.
Another fan who thought similarly asked, “What kind of federation is this?”

Fans also had comments to make about the fighters a fan tweeted, “If Tatiana gets upset, she will eat her”.
While Ruxandra Ailene appeared to have won the fight, a fan commented, “STILL TATIANA REMAIN A BOSS”.
Another fan commented about the difference in the weight classes, the fan commented, “There was a 100 kg weight difference.”
They also appreciated Tatianna for remaining calm in the ring as a fan commented, “She is cool even in the ring”.
There were a few fans, however, who thought they had seen better fights. The comment read, “In high school I saw better quality girl beatings”

Cross-weight division fights have enthralled fans in the past
Match-ups between fighters of different weight classes aren’t new. The UFC has seen a lot of them with the biggest weight difference probably being that of Keith Hackney knocked out the 616lbs sumo champion Emmanuel Yarborough at UFC 3. Hackney weighed 200 lbs in that fight. Another example that fans would like to know about is Conor McGregor going against Artemij Sitenkov in a fight where the weight difference was 50 lbs.
The weight divisions have set fighters on somewhat equal footing, but fighters have been seen going down three or four weight classes to optimize their performance.
