But now it seems as if the mantle is changing its hands. In the recent past, fighters from other parts of the world have started to dominate. For the same reason, Paddy Pimblett in his recent podcast discussed alongside Tom Aspinall, what has led to the Brazilian UFC athlete’s downfall.

Paddy Pimblett is fresh off his controversial win over Jared Gordon at UFC 282. Moreover, due to the fashion of his win, he is facing a lot of backlash from spectators globally. However, it hasn’t affected him to not continue with his normal routine of creating content for his fans.
‘Paddy the Baddy’ is quickly rising towards becoming one of the most famous fighters in the promotion. Additionally, his joining the UFC and the wins he has gathered has helped him gain a huge fan base and millions of followers. His YouTube channel is widely popular, and he is quite active on it.
Paddy Pimblett shares thoughts on the decline of Brazilian dominance in the UFC
He recently sat down with UFC heavyweight fighter Tom Aspinall to discuss UFC and also had a conversation regarding PED usage in MMA.
Aspinall explained how it is becoming more and more difficult for Brazilian fighters to enter the UFC and excel in the promotion. He was of the opinion that the strict testing UFC was the impeding factor for them.

Pimblett said, “Or they either get to the UFC and start gassing in three rounds and they don’t perform.” Aspinall adds to this by saying that “There used to be a lot of Brazilian Champions before they brought this USADA stuff in properly…“
Further, the pair went on to talk about a UFC fighter surrounded by a recent controversy.
Pimblett on another ‘juice head’ fighting with injury
In addition, to Brazilian fighters failing the USADA tests, they also discuss TJ Dillashaw’s last fight, calling him another ‘Juice Head’.
Dillashaw’s fight against Aljamain Sterling was controversial. Additionally, when he made the decision to suddenly retire, many felt he was going the Conor McGregor route and would eventually return.

Pimblett said, “I do. I give him his due … TJ Dillashaw probably went into that fight thinking. I’ll never get another title shot again, I need to do this fight. So I say hat’s off to him.“
While the UFC heavyweight fighter said that it was ‘fair play’ for Dillashaw to fight with a shoulder injury.
