Marvin Vettori is considered to be one of the top contenders in the middleweight division. The fighter has an impressive MMA record of (17-5-1) and in his last fight challenged Israel Adesanya for the middleweight title. ‘The Italian Dream’ ended up losing the fight via a unanimous decision.
However, Vettori impressed everyone with his performance and showed everyone how good he really is. This was Vettori’s 1st loss in almost 3 years, having previously also lost to Israel Adesanya back in 2018. Since his fight against ‘The Last Stylebender’ people had been eagerly waiting to see him in action again. Finally, a fight between Marvin Vettori and Paulo Costa has been announced for UFC Fight Night 196.
Trash Talk has recently become a big part of MMA and combat sports in general. Various fighters are often seeing taken digs at each other on social media. Many fighters seem to enjoy trash-talking their opponent as it helps them in the fight.

Vettori is not a fan of the same and believes that fighters should finish their feuds inside the Octagon. Recently the fighter took to Twitter to share this very opinion of his. He wrote, “There is so much bullshit going on that I really don’t know how I am keeping my mouth shout these days lol. Reality is we should fight till another man quits or remains unable to continue every time and fuck the business side.”

‘The Italian Dream’ is clearly not a fan of unnecessary trash talk. Therefore, it comes as no surprise that we almost never see him getting involved in social media banter.
What the future holds for Marvin Vettori?
Vettori is currently just 27 years of age and is already very high ranked in the UFC. Therefore, seeing his talent, one can expect ‘The Italian Dream’ to become UFC champion one day.
That day can come really soon as well as if Vettori defeats Costa. He can again set himself for a title shot after the fight between Israel Adesanya and Robert Whittaker is done. Whatever the case, maybe. With this recent Tweet, Vettori has clearly shown that he believes in fighting in the ring rather than talking outside.
