“I can’t go back and I will move forward. I am beyond grateful to my family, friends and supporters all over the world who have stayed by my side,” Conor McGregor posted after a jury in the Dublin High Court found him liable for s–ual a–ault. While ‘The Notorious’ was ordered to pay a hefty sum of over $250,000 to the plaintiff Nikita Hand, he has been losing even more through several businesses cutting ties with him in the wake of the allegations.
For instance, the Irish fighter’s name and face were often used by Proper 12—a brand he created in 2018 and later sold to Proximo in 2021—for sales purposes. But now, their website doesn’t feature McGregor. Additionally, the 36-year-old’s character was also added to the video game ‘Hitman’ but removed after the jury’s decision.

Amid all his troubles, UFC veteran Brendan Schaub stepped forward with some advice for the embattled Irishman. Speaking on his ‘Extra Thiccc’ podcast, the former UFC fighter emphasized that living a lavish lifestyle surrounded by excess and debauchery will backfire on anybody.
“There’s been rumblings non-stop dude, for years and years and years. If you’re playing those dark arts, something’s going to stick. Something is going to pop up and rear its ugly head. If you’re living that life, like you’ve been living, eventually—I don’t care who you are—if you’re a bank robber, you might get away with it three, four times. Eventually, you’re going to get caught,” ‘Big Brown’ stated.
“Now, you might not go to prison, you might not get shot but you are going to suffer some repercussions. And hopefully—hopefully—if this doesn’t do it, then it’s all over for Conor. If this doesn’t get him on the right path to be a good father and a good husband, nothing will. If going and standing trial for r–e doesn’t force you to get your act together, there is no hope for Conor McGregor.”
While the jury has made its decision, Conor McGregor has stated he will appeal the case. Regarding this, Schaub further stated:
“Whether you are guilty or not. Whether they find you guilty or not, whether you are guilty of assault or r–e… Even the appeal, whatever they decide, if its pro-Conor or anti-Conor, it doesn’t matter. If that doesn’t scare you enough to get your s–t together, stop doing co—ne.” However, Schaub isn’t the only one who is concerned about the Irish fighter.
Daniel Cormier said that while McGregor, true to his fighting spirit, found his way out of many sticky legal situations in the past, this particular case is something that will have long-term effects on ‘The Notorious’. In fact, Cormier was shocked at McGregor being sidelined by a brand he helped start (Proper 12), “How the hell do you kick a man out of a business that he started?”

The Dublin Airport Authority stated it will remove any beverages associated with ‘The Notorious’ from its Cork and Dublin airports. Additionally, the National Wax Museum in Dublin removed McGregor’s wax statue they had installed in 2017.
It’s not looking good for the Irishman. However, through thick and thin, there’s been one person who continues to stand by his side. That person is his long-term partner Dee Devlin, who took the opportunity to speak publicly for the first time since the trial.

Conor McGregor might have achieved everything in his life, from being a UFC star to becoming a multi-millionaire businessman, but what’s his most valued possession? It’s his relationship with Dee Devlin. Despite everything that has happened within the past few weeks, Devlin refuses to leave Conor McGregor’s side.
Not only that, she has called out Nikita Hand via social media. “Imagine a WOMAN, with her own boyfriend and child, texting provocative pictures of herself to another woman’s man with a family and child on the way… Whilst on a 3-day bender, texting excuses to her own child at home… all the while out of her face in a hotel room, dancing around a hotel car park. What sort of WOMAN are you!!!.” wrote Dee Devlin in a series of scathing Instagram stories.
“My sons will be warned women like you exist in the world,” she added.

Devlin further mentioned, “CCTV DOES NOT LIE. I look forward to the day the world will see the footage of you on that night and the carry on of you… To me, it looks like everyone is trying to get away from you.”
Conor McGregor asserted that he would go to the higher courts to demand justice, but for now, problems just keep mounting for him. Regardless, what’s your take on the situation? Share your thoughts in the comments below.
