It’s not every day that a UFC fighter receives a custom gun, but it’s something that would have a great appeal for UFC women’s flyweight champion Valentina Shevchenko who loves shooting guns. Aptly named ‘The Bullet’ due to her love for shooting, she even has a gun tattoo on her side. The UFC champion often spends her free time at the gun range hitting targets.
Speaking to Ariel Helwani of ESPN MMA, ‘The Bullet’ opened up on a set of custom gun sliders she received back in 2018. She described the very cool custom gift designed just for her.
She said, “Brownells. They made it for me. Actually, there is only two guns like this who has the logo.”

‘The Bullet’ added that it was part of a contest on Brownell’s website. The winner would receive two round flight trips and tickets to the UFC event.
Shevchenko said, “They had a winner who won this pistol and also two tickets to the fight. I think it was the fight that didn’t happen against Amanda, the second one, Las Vegas, UFC 228. So they have the winner, and of course, it was the second gun and the first one I have. Brownells, they support me every time with guns and ammunition with everything, and I have this gun from them.”
The fighter had tweeted an image of her impressive custom Glock-19.

This weekend, Valentina Shevchenko will look for her fourth successful title defense against Brazilian Jennifer Maia. ‘The Bullet’ is on a five-fight win streak. One of these wins was a devastating head-kick finish over Jessica Eye.
She has proven her dominance ever since beating Joanna Jedrzejczyk for the title and will look to go six in a row and vanquish her latest challenger.
Having already successfully defended her belt thrice, Valentina will look to cement herself as the division’s best by securing her twentieth victory at UFC 255.
