Kamaru Usman makes a tall claim about beating Khamzat Chimaev

Kamaru Usman is arguably one of the most decorated and highly celebrated UFC welterweight champions of all time. He is widely considered to be a really technical fighter who also packs a lot of power. However, he recently fell off the wagon as Leon Edwards toppled him and became the UFC champ. Khamzat Chimaev was also a real terror in the division. However, the fighter missed weight and after a lot of back and forth with the top brass at UFC, Khamzat Chimaev has moved up to the Middleweight division.

Recently, a picture of Chimaev has been going viral on Instagram. The caption in the picture uploaded by ESPNMMA reads: “ $10M for 5 rounds with Khamzat, how long are you lasting“. Fans started dropping their comments. Among them was former welterweight champ Kamaru Usman, who wrote, “At 77kg… Finish him in the 4th“.

This is a tall claim considering the fact that Chimaev is still unbeaten in the UFC and Leon Edwards has defeated Usman twice. But, in reality, is there a chance that Kamaru Usman could have actually done it?

Fans troll Kamaru Usman for making such a tall claim against Khamzat Chimaev

When Usman dropped his comments, another post started going viral. This picture was a shot of the original post by EPSNMMA with Kamaru Usman’s comment down below. The fans didn’t waste a moment in giving ‘The Nigerian Nightmare’ a reality check as real as ever.

“Usman is good but khamzat is on next level“, said one fan as another joined him saying, “Nice joke usman you dream alot lmao“. One fan referenced the devastating leg kick that he ate from Leon Edwards during their encounter, saying, “it seems he still has the head kick, I hope he recovers slowly“. “The wolf is coming for him too“, declared another fan. 

Unfortunately, the trolling didn’t stop there for him. Comments like, “Usaman doesn’t have chance against the wolf @khamzat_chimaev“, and “Sweet dreams brother Kamaru“, were left by fans in the comment section. Another fan dropped a really savage comment for Usman, saying, “Kamaru was scared when people mentionned khamzat, now after his close fight with burns he got confident suddenly“. 

One person commented saying, “Colby can eat both of then alive on the same time“.
