Joe Rogan has a fascination with stories about aliens and unidentified flying objects (UFOs). He has had vivid discussions regarding the topic several times on his million-dollar ‘Joe Rogan Experience’ podcast. However, the 55-year-old recently admitted that wanting to find out about the existence of aliens and otherworldly beings could be his biggest problem.

Renowned comedian Gabriel Iglesias joined Joe Rogan on the #2001 episode of his podcast. The two-hour-long conversation had several topics discussed, among which were regarding aliens. Let us see what the JRE host had to say about it.

Joe Rogan admits to having a problem

The 55-year-old was telling Iglesias about teleportation theories when he brought up the subject of aliens visiting Earth. Rogan believes that human beings would have become a much more interesting species if aliens had visited our planet. He said, “I think maybe if aliens are real, I think we’d be interesting. I certainly think they’d come here. Maybe they’ve always been coming here. We don’t know.”

Moreover, he confessed to having a real obsession with aliens being real, and that is a problem for him. The 55-year-old added, “I want it to be real, and that’s my problem. My problem is that I am a true believer.”

Joe Rogan’s approach toward other things is the same as he approaches aliens. He claims that there is something unusual about all the information that is available to people regarding UFOs and otherworldly beings. He said, “I try to do that with everything. Man, I don’t know. Something smells funny.”

The JRE host thinks most information about aliens is “fabricated”

The 55-year-old is aware of everything he has said about aliens. As such, he wants to be careful about not being the one to spread misinformation or endorse conspiracy theories. “I don’t wanna be that guy who’s calling bullsh*t when it’s not bullsh*t. So I have to be careful,” said Joe Rogan. Meanwhile, his obsession with aliens even led him to make it the theme of his comedy club, ‘Comedy Mothership’.

The more he dives into the realm of aliens, the more suspicious he gets about it. Rogan added, “The more I watch this UFO thing operate, the more I get skeptical.” Despite his confession about aliens becoming a problem for him, the JRE host still believes that some of the information about aliens is made up. Rogan said, “Too much of it seems like f***ing fabricated. Like, even the stories about finding them in an archaeological dig, like, You sure that’s what happened?”
