Some people have been speculating that this might lead to another lawsuit for McGregor while others have dismissed it on the basis that it was staged. Comments like, “If it was pre-planned then no lawsuit”, “The emergency room for being punched in the face through a mask is crazy 💀 man must of been fishing for a lawsuit”, “Preplanned – second shot maybe not so much – mascot thinks “wait a second my boss told me to do this and I got hurt, let’s see if I can cash out”, and “He knew what he signed up for” rolled in, the moment people got wind of the situation.

The second shot was not planned and Conor miscalculated the padding on that mascot head” pointed out one person.
