In an episode of his podcast, the host shared an incident involving his daughter’s friends. He challenged them to a crazy contest, for prize money of $1000. The parents of the kids did not appreciate Rogan’s intention.
Joe Rogan tested 12-year-old kids’ limit with an insane challenge
Tom Segura, Bert Kreischer, and Ari Shaffir joined Joe Rogan in a podcast episode. Among many topics, the comedians were discussing their fitness plans for ‘Sober October’ in episode #1879 of The JRE. The group expressed their views on a cold plunge. A cold plunge pool is a small-sized pool that keeps water temperatures between 55f and 45f. This cold water acts as a therapy, releasing endorphins and maintaining blood flow.
Joe Rogan shared a weird story that includes his cold plunge pool. The podcast host started the story and said, “My daughter’s friends were over at the house.” He then explains, “I told them I’d give them a thousand dollars if they could do a minute in it” The comedian adds he ended up paying $1000 to three kids who took on the insane challenge. “I gave three kids a $1000” and added “12-year-olds”

He explained how the parents of the kids were not happy with this random stunt. “The parents are like ‘What the f***’”. The stand-up comedian explained to the concerned parents how their kids earned it themselves. The 55-year-old imitated the 12-years old kids who were shivering in the cold plunge and stated, “It was hilarious…”
The ‘Fear Factor’ host described the 12-year-olds taking the cold plunge as “a hard thing to do…” Joe Rogan added it was brave of the kids, who weighed 90 pounds to take on this crazy challenge.
“I’m showing them you can do this very difficult thing… A minute in a cold plunge….You’re 90 pounds and you’re 12 years old”
